Assalam. Alhamdulillah, Hana is four months and a week old. MashaAllah tabarakallah :)
Hana mula meniarap officially on her 4 months and two days old. (yayy!) MashaAllah, memang on the dot 4 months Hana started to turn her body!. She seemed very proud and excited :D Mama is much more happy. However, gambar di bawah bukan gambar semasa Hana made her 'meniarap history'. This one Mama purposely put her on her stomach, at 3 months. (exercise, hihi..)

To encourage baby's brain power
Bismillah.
To encourage baby's brain power.
Guidance for me.
Every mum wants her baby to grow into a healthy, happy
toddler. Giving her some fun, mental stimulation helps develop new brain
‘connections’ which form part of her adult brain.
Mummy Time
Spending quality time with your child benefits her in so many different ways. She picks up her language skills from baby talk with you and from watching your face and body language. ‘Babies learn a lot faster if they’re taught with one-to-one interaction,’ says brain expert Nancy Slessenger. ‘So, the more animated you are around your baby and the more you talk to her – even if she can’t understand exactly what you’re on about yet – the better!

Get Moving
‘The development of the brain is directly linked to movement, ‘says Nancy. ‘By waving her limbs around, she’s inviting you to react. When you respond with an action or words, she’ll repeat the movement, and a new brain connection is made.’

Good Grub
The long-chain polyunsaturated fat DHA found in breastmilk helps little brains grow and develop. Some infant formulas contain DHA, which is marked on formula milks as LCPs – levels differ, so do check. ‘Older, weaned babies need a healthy, balance diet for brain development,’ says Bridget Benelam from the British Nutrition Foundation. ‘This should contain protein like chicken, dairy, lentils or eggs.’

Have a Rest
Babies benefit from a variety of mental stimulation, but, just like adults, sometimes they need a break! During a rest or snooze your baby processes what she’s learned, and chances are she’ll wake up full of beans again and ready to take on more.

Did you know?
Boys’ brains develop from the back (the ‘doing’ part) towards the front (the ‘thinking’ part). Girls’ brains develop the other way around. So boys develop physical skills before thinking and language, and girls tend to communicate earlier.

Hana's development. (3months)
Bismillah.
Alhamdulillah, Hana is 3months and 4 days old today :)
Because time flies very rapidly, and Mama sometimes misses those beautiful moments together (though I didnt want that to happen). So, it is best for me to have a checklist regarding Hana's development, so that I can always catch up on what I am supposed to focus on. This one I got from babyzone website. The ones highlighted in green are those Hana had managed to do, as at 29 December 2012. Alhamdulillah :)

Fun and Leisure
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
I'm currently at my 39 weeks of pregnancy, MasyaAllah :)
Sekarang ni, dilemanya adalah bila baby nak keluar ni... Dah tak sabar sangat-sangat! ^^
Tengah makan, nak tidur, bangun tidur, masak and every single thing I'm doing, mesti fikir bila baby nak keluar. Berdebar juga sebab tak tahu macam mana situasi sakit nak bersalin tu akan berlaku ^_^
Apapun I always keep myself active walaupun dah ambil cuti awal. Pagi-pagi buat simple breakfast. Lepas bye-bye Abang, terus pergi our 'petting zoo'. Yes, our pet zoo :) Feed Mr. Chicken Licken and his wife, and also Mr. Bugs Bunny and his beloved wife. Oh, not to forget Mr. Blacky the cat and another baby chicken. The initial idea of having these pets were my hubby's. Saya suka binatang. Hehe. Emosi dan naluri yang bagaimana? Ye la, mestilah kena bagi dia happy. Kadang-kadang nak berlari-lari dan melompat-lompat. That's the nature of animals right? Jadi, at least twice a week, mereka akan dilepaskan in the garden.
And it's okay for me when Abang wants to have them because I believe that he takes good care of them, and it's a good therapy plus exercise for him as well. So, green light for Abang as long as rumah tak semak sangat ya! >.<

Okay, back to my activities. In the morning I will take care of the pets. Then, siram pokok dan kemas bahagian luar rumah. Dah cuti kan, so I become a gardener for a while.
Then, start off with indoor house chores. Kemas-kemas, sapu-sapu, and do the laundry. I always think, nanti masa berpantang, apalah yang boleh dibuat. Jaga baby la kannn... and of course blogging and facebooking! hehe :)
Dah siap semua, maka bermulalah aktiviti Facebook, blogging etc. Tengah hari sikit, baru fikir nak masak-masak. So far, my life as a housewife is not that bad. I mean, taklah terlalu boring or 'passive' as I have always thought of.
But since I'm expecting my baby, I do not have the intention of taking any orders on hantaran.

Set Bersalin NR
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
As the title goes, that's exactly what I'm going to write about today. Yes, finally I have made my decision on my medication for confinement which is Rangkaian Herbanika Bersalin Nona Roguy.
SIMPLE AND COMPACT
*modern mommies kan, and I'm one of them* Jadi saya berpendapat set ini mudah untuk digunakan, tak perlu 'renyah' nak menggunakan terlalu banyak barang, takut tak habis pula :)
HARGA
Not bad and I believe it's worth buying :)
TRADISIONAL
Being me, sebenarnya saya suka dengan jamu-jamu dan petua tradisional ni, yang moden pun saya suka juga. I'm into both. Hehe. Tapi, since this is my first time berpantang, I choose NR because it is in between, tradisional tetapi masih mudah untuk digunakan.
Ameen.
Till then, :)

37 weeks
Bismillah :)
Pheww! So a week after raya I went for my regular check up. My weight during Ramadhan was static or slightly increase, 64.1kg. After raya? My weight mounted to 65.9kg. 1.8kg increase within 1 week? Not bad! Haha. Darling baby weighs at 2.49kg. Alhamdulillah :)
That was last week. This week, my weight increase lagi, now 66.4kg. Oh my! I was suppose to add only 1kg in every 2 weeks, but I went over the limit which was an increase of 2.3kg, extra 1.3kg!
Nurse kata, kalau overweight perlu berhati-hati dengan risiko darah tinggi ketika mengandung. T_T So now, I have to go to KK twice a week to check on my blood pressure. Hopefully, there's nothing serious. I will have to control my meal consumption now on. I almost reach the end line, huhuhu. 3 weeks to go. Gambate!
